Dr. Nut could have been found in New Orleans, LA as early as 1962 and has been reported as having been seen in New Mexico as late as the 1980s. Dr. Nut is the favorite drink of Ignatius J. Reilly from John Kennedy Toole’s Confederacy of Dunces.
